2024 CBC & PREVENTION FORUM

We had an incredible turnout at FACT's 3rd Annual Community Based Care and Prevention Forum. Dozens of attendees from across the region came together to discuss, collaborate, and network on how we can best keep Genesee and Saginaw County families safe, thriving, and out of the child welfare system. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Mona Hanna was, as always, exceptional. The forum's panel was informative and engaging. Their passion was evident and motivated us all to make a difference.

Our mission with the CBC and Prevention is to create a balanced and blended approach to supporting families where families share ownership in the approach and feel safe, knowledgeable, and empowered to reach out to resources, and where the network partners work in full collaboration and exchange with each other.

GROUP ACTIVITY

The Assembled Group of Attendees
Enjoy this interactive piece where groups are given different CBC Prevention fundamentals as topics. We then asked, "What could we STOP doing right now that would advance the topic you've been given.?" After we shared those 'STOPS', we then asked "What could we START doing to advance our assigned topic?" There was GREAT interaction within the groups and great feedback!

We broke them out for you as well!
