FACT AUGUST RECAP
Dear Friends,
August has been a month to remember for FACT. We highlight the launch of our FACT On The Go resource trailer and our first partnership with Mother Jones and the R.L. Jones Community Outreach Center in Flint. Over the last two Thursdays in August, we met more than 200 families from all over Genesee County. In partnership with this well-established food distribution, FACT On The Go supports by providing foundation garments for the family, children's coats, and personal care items. It was a powerful start, and we are excited to bring FACT On the Go to your neighborhood soon

Sunshine, Support, and So Much More!
Dear Friends,
This month brought a powerful mix of community connection, statewide advocacy, and continued momentum for FACT.
On July 29th, FACT had the honor of testifying before the Michigan House Appropriations Committee for Labor and Economic Development. Joined by Representative David Martin, who generously introduced FACT, spoke passionately about the needs of the families he represents. We are incredibly grateful for his support, belief in our mission, and commitment to the people of Genesee County and beyond….(more)

Sunshine, Support, and So Much More!
Dear Friends,
June began with a fantastic outdoor adventure with UAW Local 659, the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance, and Molina Healthcare of Michigan. Hundreds of children and their families went fishing, kayaking, archery, and other outdoor sports activities, many for the first time!
Also in Flint, our Loads of Love event…

May is a Month of Meaningful Moments at FACT
Dear Friends,
We have had a full and meaningful month at FACT. In May, we spent time in both Genesee and Saginaw counties, connecting with families and strengthening partnerships throughout the community.
We joined other organizations at events like the Genesee County Resource Fair at Berston, Catholic Charities’ Foster Parent Appreciation Night, and a Saginaw neighborhood cleanup. These are just a few ways we stay connected and visible in the community through collaboration and outreach.

FACT Opens a New Hub for Saginaw County Families!
The Open House at FACT’s new space on 3605 Davenport Avenue in Saginaw welcomed a steady flow of families, community leaders, and partner organizations from across the county. It was very encouraging to have so many people come together in one place to learn, connect, and imagine what is possible when we work together to support families. The whole hub was buzzing with meaningful conversations, fresh ideas, and plenty of positive energy. Click here to see photos of the event!

Dear Friends,
We have some exciting updates and milestones to share with you. November has been a remarkable month for FACT. Our Flint Community Service Hub is THRIVING. We officially opened the Hub on October 1st and we are already making an incredible impact on families and our community.
On November 19th, over 60 attendees joined us to celebrate the Flint Community Service Hub's OPEN HOUSE. Families, service agencies, legislators, and foundation representatives from Genesee and Saginaw counties toured our facility including the three themed rooms, 'Sunroom', 'Focus Factory,' and 'Kidtopia'. Each room was carefully designed to foster connection and support for families, professionals, and children. I was very pleased to see so many faces and feel the shared enthusiasm for our mission.

WHAT A DAY! FACT's 3rd CBC & Prevention Forum!
We had an incredible turnout at FACT's 3rd Annual Community Based Care and Prevention Forum. Dozens of attendees from across the region came together to discuss, collaborate, and network on how we can best keep Genesee and Saginaw County families safe, thriving, and out of the child welfare system. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Mona Hanna was, as always, exceptional. The forum's panel was informative and engaging. Their passion was evident and motivated us all to make a difference.
