SAGINAW - YMCA
”Coach Approach to Weight Loss 4 Life”

Individuals with a BMI of 25 or higher qualify for our support network. Approach the Y’s front desk or email the Wellness Coordinator, Janna at jneedhad@saginawymca.org to start the process.
This is an on-going service to the community (even non-members) providing support with the intent of seeing the participants’ BMI dropping below the 25BMI level.
Sessions run for 2-months and reopen immediately after. Registration is only $20 for the March/April session. See the Y for more details.

FLINT - Crossover Outreach
”Daily Services”

Crossover Outreach is open daily, Tuesday through Friday, to serve clients in need of food, clothing, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, household items, and more. We are here to uplift our neighbors in need...those facing hardships who are referred to Crossover by many qualifying organizations in Flint and Genesee County.  These referring agencies include but are not limited to Hope Network, My Brother's Keeper, MDHHS, Genesee Health Systems, the Red Cross, Love INC, and many more.  LINK

FLINT - Voices for Children
”Interview & Exam Services”

Voices for Children Advocacy Center provides a place for abused children to tell their stories in a safe, friendly environment, with a single certified trained staff that can compassionately listen, examine, and ask all the necessary questions. Children and their non-offending family members meet with our Family Advocate and Forensic Interviewer to answer any questions they have. The Interviewer builds a relationship with the child to let them know that they are in a safe place and can tell their story. Because our facility is so home-like, we provide medical exams onsite by specially-trained medical personnel so they are less traumatic and stressful to children.
