On June 18th, FACT hosted a Free Community Laundry Day at Wash King Dry Cleaners and Laundromat in Saginaw County. Families completed up to three free loads of laundry per household and received free laundry supplies.

On June 16th, FACT hosted another Free Community Laundry Day at Pro Clean on Pierson Road in Genesee County. Families completed up to three free loads of laundry per household and received free laundry supplies.

On June 8th, Mobile Monday celebrated its one-year anniversary at the FACT Saginaw Community Support Hub. Families came out for free books, free resources, and a chance to connect with partners from across the county.

On June 6th, FACT joined the Union Sportsmen's Alliance and UAW Local 659 for Hooked on Community, a free outdoor event at the Blue Gill Boat Launch on E. Coldwater Road in Genesee County. The event was organized and led by the Union Sportsmen's Alliance and UAW Local 659, who provided free fishing, outdoor activities, and lunch for the entire community. FACT was proud to be a part of what they built.

On June 3rd, FACT and the Crim Fitness Foundation hosted Food Smarts at North Flint Food Market, a hands-on dinner built around shopping smart and eating well on a budget.

FACT On The Go continued meeting families directly in the community during May, with visits to the R.L. Jones Community Resource Center and Good Church.

At R.L. Jones Community Outreach Center, families connected with the FACT team and received household essentials that support stability at home. 

May's Loads of Love in Saginaw County at Colby's Coin Laundry & Dry Cleaning gave families time to catch up on laundry, receive laundry supplies, and connect with FACT staff and partners in a welcoming space.

Mobile Monday at Jerome Preschool brought families together for an evening of books, food, resources, and community connection. Children picked out free books, enjoyed activities, and spent time with partners who helped make the evening fun and welcoming.

FACT On The Go returned to the R.L. Jones Community Resource Center on April 9th and April 30th. The April 30th visit marked the largest turnout since last September! Families arrived early and formed a long lines stretching to Webster Rd.

April’s Planting Day and Caregiver Dinner in Saginaw brought a great crowd, with families fully engaged throughout the evening. Families worked together to decorate and plant in their own container. It was a low-stress place to ask questions and learn simple ways to grow food at home.

April’s Loads of Love in Saginaw County at Colby’s Coin Laundry brought families in for another steady turnout. Households were able to complete up to three loads while connecting with FACT staff, asking questions, and sharing practical ways to manage laundry and everyday needs.

April’s Planting Day and Caregiver Dinner at Edible Flint Educational Farm brought a full turnout, with families staying engaged well beyond the scheduled time.

April’s Loads of Love in Genesee County at Pro Clean on Corunna Road brought another strong turnout. Families connected with FACT staff, asked questions, and shared practical ways to make laundry more efficient.

Mobile Monday at Brucker Preschool brought families together in Bridgeport/Spaulding for an evening centered on access, literacy, and practical support. Children picked out free books and stayed engaged through hands-on activities, while caregivers connected directly with local partners and received clear information on available services.
