NOVEMBER: Other ways FACT Showed Up for Families in November

Loads of Love Free Community Laundry Day
November 25, 2025 - ProClean - Pierson Rd., Flint

November brought strong connection across both counties. Mobile Mondays went to The Neighb where we both created a warm space for children to explore books and video games while caregivers connected with trusted partners and learned about local services. Our Coffee Chat at Good Beans Cafe had the biggest turnout we have had in Genesee County. It offered a quiet moment for conversation for locals stopping in for a cup of coffee.

FACT On The Go stayed active throughout the month with multiple visits to RL Jones Resource Center on top of being at our Mobile Mondays Event. Families received books, diapers, cleaning items, personal care supplies, and information about programs in their neighborhoods. These open conversations help us understand weekly needs and plan our next steps.

Community Coffee Chats continued in Saginaw at SVRC, where families talked about services, upcoming events, school needs and more. Later in the month, FACT joined the UAW and Old Newsboys for Bowling With a Purpose. We are always appreciative to be included at an event that strengthens support for children across Genesee County. FACT also joined the Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation at the Mott Community College Culinary Arts Institute for a Thanksgiving meal that offered families a free meal for the holidays.
