APRIL: Planting Day and Caregiver Dinner FACT Saginaw Community Support Hub

Planting Day and Caregiver Dinner
April 29, 2026 - FACT Saginaw Community Support Hub

April’s Planting Day and Caregiver Dinner in Saginaw brought a great crowd, with families fully engaged throughout the evening. Families worked together to decorate and plant in their own container. It was a low-stress place to ask questions and learn simple ways to grow food at home.

The kids were locked-in! They were active the whole event, moving from planting and into other activities through the hub.

This work is part of the Growing Season initiative, shaped through FACT’s Envisioning Group to make food access and growing more visible and practical for families.

Thank you to Saginaw County Community Action Committee (CAC), Genesis Community Garden, and Saginaw Community Gardens for partnering on this event and helping make it a strong experience for families.
