Calm & Connected: Yoga Night at the Library

Location: Gloria Coles Flint Public Library – C.S. Mott Foundation Community Room
Date: May 28, 2025
Event: Calm & Connected – Yoga & Caregiver Dinner

Sometimes the best kind of support is slowing down together—and that’s exactly what we did at our Calm & Connected pop-up event on May 28.

FACT hosted families for a relaxing evening of gentle yoga and good food at the Flint Public Library. With yoga mats rolled out in the sunny community room, caregivers and kids stretched, breathed, and let go of the day’s stress. Afterward, everyone shared a casual dinner and conversations that helped deepen connection.

This event was a moment to recharge, surrounded by others who get it.

Why It Matters:
When families have space to reset—physically and emotionally—it strengthens their ability to show up for each other. Pop-ups like this offer low-pressure, high-impact opportunities to connect.

Coming Soon:
More pop-up wellness nights are on the horizon! Keep an eye on FACT’s calendar to find your moment to exhale.
