Families And Children Together hosted Loads of Love at Colby's Coin Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Saginaw on Thursday, July 23rd.
Families completed up to three free loads of laundry per household and received free laundry supplies. While the machines were running, caregivers had time to connect with FACT staff, learn about local resources, and talk with other families.
MSU Extension provided educational games and activities for children. These activities helped make the children a fun way to learn while their laundry was being completed.
Loads of Love helps reduce a common household expense while creating space for families to build connections. A routine trip to the laundromat became a community event where families could receive practical help, share experiences, and learn about support available in Saginaw County.
Families And Children Together (FACT) is a non-profit organization serving Genesee and Saginaw counties. FACT provides wraparound services that help families navigate challenges and stay safely together. Services include resource coordination, community events, caregiver support, and connection to local partner organizations.
