FACT's Rollin’ Caregiver Dinner at Rollhaven was a HUGE success!
Rolling Into Connection: FACT’s Caregiver Dinner at Rollhaven
On January 30, FACT’s Rollin’ Caregiver Dinner turned Rollhaven in Grand Blanc into a hub of energy, excitement, and community connection! With over 100 community members in attendance, the night was a celebration of togetherness, fun, and a little bit of learning—FACT-style.
From the moment families arrived, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, movement, and the sound of wheels gliding across the rink. Whether seasoned skaters or first-timers, everyone embraced the challenge of roller skating—some hesitantly, some fearlessly, but all with smiles. Seeing parents, caregivers, and kids cheering each other on, helping each other up, and trying something new together was a perfect example of the protective factors we always work to support.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a FACT event without good food and great conversations. Pizza kept everyone fueled, while the bounce house added an extra layer of fun for those who preferred to jump instead of skate. Between rounds of skating and snacking, we took a moment to recognize Mental Wellness Awareness Month. FACT believes in weaving learning opportunities into the fun—helping families understand how mental well-being, strong support systems, and community connections play a vital role in keeping kids safe and thriving.
One of the most rewarding parts? Each month, our caregiver dinners keep growing! More families are showing up, more connections are forming, and we’re building a stronger, more supportive community together.
Events like these remind us why we do what we do: bringing people together, creating safe spaces for families, and making sure that even in the busiest moments, we all take time to enjoy being together simply.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out laced up their skates, and made this event a success! We’ll see you at the next one—more fun, more connection, and of course, more FACT.
