A Safe Space to Share: April Caregiver Brunch in Saginaw

On Tuesday, April 29th, FACT hosted a special Caregiver Brunch at the historic Castle Museum in downtown Saginaw — a warm, intimate gathering centered around connection, reflection, and healing.

Lionel Grant from CAN Council presented about the imporatnt work they do. Then a recorded speech by Dr. Kai Anderson (who was unable to attend) , offering powerful insights on breaking intergenerational trauma in caregiving and family systems. Attendees engaged in heartfelt conversation, thoughtful questions, and moments of shared understanding.

Though smaller in size, the gathering was rich in purpose. Caregivers left feeling supported, inspired, and seen — a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful work happens in the quiet, honest spaces we create together.

We’re grateful to Keeping Kids Safe and all who helped make this event possible.
