On June 26, FACT dove into summer with a splash—hosting a Caregiver Dinner and Swim Safety Night at the YMCA of Saginaw.

Families came ready for fun, learning, and connection. The evening kicked off with a free dinner, followed by swim safety tips led by experienced staff, and plenty of time to enjoy the indoor pool. Kids had a blast in the water while caregivers got the chance to learn important safety practices and build relationships with other families in the community.

Why It Matters:
Water safety saves lives—and giving families a safe, welcoming space to learn and play together is part of FACT’s mission to strengthen communities from the inside out.

Our Favorite Part?
Watching kids grow more confident in the water and seeing caregivers relax and connect—everyone left smiling (and maybe a little bit wet!).
