JULY: Soaring Together in Saginaw: Caregiver Dinner at Haithco Park

On the evening of July 17th, families from across Saginaw gathered at Haithco Park for a simple, beautiful reminder of what community looks like in action. FACT’s Caregiver Dinner offered space for connection, fun, and a chance to just breathe—and thanks to the steady breeze, a sky full of colorful kites.

Caregivers and children spread out across the open field, choosing kites from a vibrant collection and watching them take flight with ease. With no splash pad or playground distractions, the event naturally centered on togetherness—parents talking while children ran between yard games, and new friendships quietly forming under the open sky.

The energy was calm but full of life. Stories were shared, laughs exchanged, and people lingered. No one was rushing. In that spacious setting, families had the chance to connect not only with FACT and our team but with one another—swapping parenting tips, discussing local schools, and recognizing they’re not alone on this journey.

Events like this are part of FACT’s ongoing mission to bring caregivers together in meaningful, joyful ways. There’s power in gathering without pressure—just a warm meal, open air, and a shared sense of belonging.

Thank you to all who joined us at Haithco Park. We’re grateful to walk alongside you, and we look forward to more evenings where kites fly high and community roots grow even deeper.
