AUGUST: FREE Community Laundry Day – ProClean Pierson Rd. Loads of Love – Flint

On August 19, FACT hosted another Loads of Love Free Community Laundry Day at ProClean on Pierson Road in Flint. The laundromat was filled with energy as dozens of families came together not only to wash clothes but also to share stories, connect with neighbors, and experience the relief that comes when everyday burdens are lifted.

Thanks to our partnership with Molina Healthcare, families received custom laundry bags, detergent, and other essential supplies to make the day easier. Providing access to free laundry services in Flint may seem simple, but it has a powerful impact: families leave with clean clothes, reduced stress, and a sense of belonging in their community.

Loads of Love is more than a service—it’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where families can build relationships, strengthen connections, and access resources that make daily life more manageable. Each event reminds us that when families feel supported, the entire community grows stronger.
