FACT 989Reads continued its Mobile Monday series in August, bringing books, family resources, food, and community connections directly to families in Saginaw County.
Mobile Monday was created as a simple way for families to connect with several kinds of support in one place. Children can choose free books to take home, while parents and caregivers can meet community organizations, ask questions, learn about available services, and make connections for their family.
The August event continued that approach with free books, family essentials, food, activities, and opportunities to connect directly with local resources.
Mobile Monday also makes those connections easier. Rather than expecting families to know where to start, FACT 989Reads brings organizations and resources together in familiar community spaces and gives families a chance to learn what is available.
