Families And Children Together (FACT) brought Loads of Love to Clio in August as part of the program's rotating community laundry events across Genesee County. This was FACT's first Loads of Love event at Clio Laundromat and Cleaners, giving families in another part of the county a chance to take part in the free laundry day.

We were glad to welcome back some familiar families who regularly attend Loads of Love. We also had the chance to surprise people who were already at the laundromat and did not know free laundry was being offered that day. Many were pleased to learn their laundry costs would be covered.

ELGA Credit Union joined FACT on-site to connect with families and share information and resources. Their participation added another direct connection for families during the event.

Loads of Love is designed to keep access simple. Families can take care of an everyday need while also connecting with FACT and community partners in a familiar neighborhood setting.

The August Clio event was made possible with major support from Molina Healthcare and in partnership with ELGA Credit Union. FACT plans to continue bringing Loads of Love to communities across Genesee and Saginaw Counties.
