What Happened
On June 16th, FACT returned to Pro Clean on Pierson Road in Genesee County for another Loads of Love Free Community Laundry Day. Families were able to complete up to three free loads of laundry per household and received free laundry supplies, with no cost and no paperwork required.
This event was made possible with major support from Molina Healthcare. Loads of Love continues to grow as a steady, reliable way for FACT to meet an important household need and give families an easy way to engage with FACT staff and ask questions about other available services.
Who Was There
Loads of Love Genesee County was made possible with major support from Molina Healthcare, in partnership with ELGA Credit Union and Bendle/Carman Ainsworth Early Head Start. Hosted at Pro Clean Dry Cleaning and Coin Laundry on Pierson Road.
Why It Matters
Laundry is one of those everyday needs that quietly adds stress to a family's week when money is tight, or a working washing machine is hard to find. Loads of Love removes that stress for a few hours and gives families room to breathe.
These events also create a natural, low-pressure space for conversation. While waiting on a wash cycle, caregivers often ask FACT staff about resources they did not know existed. That conversation can be the first step toward connecting a family with the support they need.

Families And Children Together (FACT) is a non-profit organization serving Genesee and Saginaw counties. FACT provides wraparound services that help families navigate challenges and stay safely together. Services include resource coordination, community events, caregiver support, and connection to local partner organizations.
