Loads of Love is a free community laundry program offered by FACT, made possible with major support from Molina Healthcare of Michigan. Families were able to complete up to three free loads of laundry per household and receive free laundry supplies.
Molina Healthcare's support made the day possible, along with partners ELGA Credit Union and Bendle/Carman Ainsworth Early Head Start. Loads of Love gives Genesee County families a relief from one of the most common and overlooked household stressors. When money is tight, or a working washing machine is hard to find, laundry quietly adds up.
While families waited on wash cycles, they had the chance to talk one-on-one with FACT, Early Head Start staff, and ELGA Credit Union representatives to learn about services available to them. This allows free conversation to uncover needs that can be met. FACT continues to bring Loads of Love back to Genesee County because the need is steady, and so is the community's response.

Families And Children Together (FACT) is a non-profit organization serving Genesee and Saginaw counties. FACT provides wraparound services that help families navigate challenges and stay safely together. Services include resource coordination, community events, caregiver support, and connection to local partner organizations.
