FACT NOVEMBER RECAP
Thank you for staying connected with FACT. November brought several activities across Genesee and Saginaw Counties. We focused on simple supports, clear information, and continued relationships.
FACT On The Go reached families through visits at RL Jones and Clio Community Church. Mobile Mondays at The Neighb gave families books, activities, food, and time with local partners. Our Community Coffee Chats in Flint and Saginaw offered space for conversation and service information. Families also joined us for a Caregiver Dinner called Family Movie Night where we watched The Polar Express and shared a meal. We hosted Loads of Love FREE laundry day in each county. You may have seen us at several other community events including Bowling with a Purpose with the UAW Local 659 and the Kyle Kuzma Foundation Thanksgiving meal.
These efforts keep families connected to resources before challenges grow. They also show how much this community wants to stay strong together. Your support makes this possible.
FACT is working toward a $1 million capital goal through our FACT FORWARD campaign. This effort will build long term stability for our Flint and Saginaw Hubs, FACT On The Go, our literacy spaces, and community events. This investment keeps services close to home, easy to reach, and focused on strengthening families across both counties.
You can join this work by contributing to the FACT FORWARD campaign and helping us move toward this goal. Please contact us to learn how you can get involved. You can DONATE TODAY HERE!

November Community Events!
Caregiver Dinner – Saginaw County
Family Movie Night - The Polar Express
November 19th, 2025 - Saginaw ISD Transitions Center
Families in Saginaw joined us for a warm and welcoming viewing of the Polar Express. We gathered at the Saginaw ISD's incredible Transitions Center where children enjoyed popcorn and a free family meal! Right as Santa's bell is heard in the movie, the children received their own 'Believe' Bell and Polar Express ticket! It was a great way to kick off the holiday season!
These simple nights create positive memories and strengthen protective factors across the community. We are grateful for every family who attended.
Loads of Love FREE Laundry Day – Saginaw County
November 20th, 2025 - Center Road Laundry
FACT's Loads of Love FREE Community Laundry day was hosted at Center Rd Laundry where FACT offered families up to three free loads of laundry. Families enjoyed free washing and drying as well as laundry supplies and a snack. Many families talked with our team about resources. Laundry days remove a real burden and create space for connection.
Also in attendance was our friends from the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Saginaw. They were handing out information and FREE boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese to families in attendance. Thanks to Center Rd Laundry and to our partners at the church who make these days possible.
Community Event – Genesee County
Loads of Love Free Community Laundry Day
November 25, 2025 - ProClean - Pierson Rd., Flint
Loads of Love at Pro Clean Laundry on Pierson Road had its strongest day yet. More families came in, more partner agencies joined us, and more loads were washed than ever before. This event continues to be one of the most active and positive parts of our month.
Families received free laundry and supplies along with a calm moment before the holiday week. Caregivers told us how thankful they were to have FACT and Molina Healthcare of Michigan right there with them. Many said this service lowers stress at home and helps them stay on track.
Thank you to ProClean Laundry, Molina Healthcare of Michigan, and all partners who make this steady support possible for the community.
Other ways FACT Showed Up for Families in November
November brought strong connection across both counties. Mobile Mondays went to The Neighb where we both created a warm space for children to explore books and video games while caregivers connected with trusted partners and learned about local services. Our Coffee Chat at Good Beans Cafe had the biggest turnout we have had in Genesee County. It offered a quiet moment for conversation for locals stopping in for a cup of coffee.
FACT On The Go stayed active throughout the month with multiple visits to RL Jones Resource Center on top of being at our Mobile Mondays Event. Families received books, diapers, cleaning items, personal care supplies, and information about programs in their neighborhoods. These open conversations help us understand weekly needs and plan our next steps.
Community Coffee Chats continued in Saginaw at SVRC, where families talked about services, upcoming events, school needs and more. Later in the month, FACT joined the UAW and Old Newsboys for Bowling With a Purpose. We are always appreciative to be included at an event that strengthens support for children across Genesee County. FACT also joined the Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation at the Mott Community College Culinary Arts Institute for a Thanksgiving meal that offered families a free meal for the holidays.
We also had NBC25/Fox66 Mid-Michigan NOW stop by to cover our fundraiser. Their story shows how FACT supports families across Genesee County and why community partnerships matter, especially this time of year. You can watch the full segment here: CLICK HERE TO VIEW
