Loads of Love Brings Free Laundry and Community Support to Genesee County
Families And Children Together (FACT) welcomed families to another successful Loads of Love event on Wednesday, October 21st, at Everclean Dry Cleaning & Coin Laundry in Burton, Michigan. The free community laundry day brought together familiar faces and new families for a morning of practical support, conversations, and community connections.
Through Loads of Love, families received up to three free loads of laundry per household, along with laundry supplies at no cost. This simple service helps families take care of an everyday need while keeping more money available for groceries, transportation, and other household expenses.
The event had a great turnout, with families who have attended previous Loads of Love events returning and new families joining us for the first time. It was an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new friends, and introduce more people to the resources available through FACT.
We extend a special thank-you to Molina Healthcare and ELGA Credit Union for partnering with FACT to make this event possible. Their continued commitment to supporting families helps us bring practical assistance directly into the communities we serve.
At FACT, we understand that even routine household expenses can create challenges for families. Loads of Love is one of the ways we work to reduce those pressures while helping families connect with additional resources and support.
