Involve the whole family in making the
Foster Care & Child Welfare Experience
better for all involved.

Provide a better experience for those families who do become involved in the Child Welfare System

The Importance of Wrap-Around Services in Child and Family Welfare

Providing services that can help the whole family is not a new idea. They have become increasingly important in the child and family welfare systems over the past several years. Services designed to support families and children during challenging times, and are particularly important in the context of child welfare and family welfare.

In the context of child and family welfare, “wrap-around” refers to a comprehensive set of services that are provided to all members of a family in need of support. They are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual family and can include a wide range of networked support, from therapy and counseling to financial assistance, housing, transportation and education and training opportunities.

FACT understands that no two families are the same, and the approach to supporting them should be tailored to meet their specific needs. Rather than trying to fit families into a one-size-fits-all approach, FACT will coordinate services & prioritize the unique needs of each family, offering a personalized approach to care that is responsive to their circumstances.

Family-centered foster care services have been shown to increase the likelihood of positive outcomes for children and families. By offering support that is tailored to their unique needs, families are better able to address challenges and overcome barriers to success. By coordinating services for the entire family, the family benefits from the support that can help them overcome challenges and work towards a more stable and healthy future.
