FACT hits the ground running in 2025!
Dear Partners,
Happy New Year! As we kick off 2025, we reflect on the tremendous progress that was accomplished, together. Since opening the Community Service Hub in Flint, it has been inspiring to see so many families and organizations using it as a space for collaboration and engagement.
The response has been strong (and quick!). Families have found support, and organizations have come together for meaningful conversations and connections. It feels as though the community is making this space their own.
The Hub is being used in many ways including Parent Cafes, training sessions, family visits, and more! 57% of the Community Service Hub's hours were utilized by partner organizations and most importantly community families! In our first quarter of operation, 664 community members have spent one or more hours at our Hub. Over 1400 professional partner hours were spent working in the Hub since opening on October 1st!
Remember, our Hub is for the community. You are welcome to host meetings and events or if you are just looking for a welcoming place to connect. Schedule your next visit at mi-fact.org/hubs.
Follow us on Facebook and Twitter/X (@fact_michigan)to stay updated on all the latest happenings, events, and opportunities.
Together, we are creating spaces where families and communities can thrive. We expect to have some exciting news about a Saginaw Hub very soon! Thank you for being a part of this work.
Warm regards,
Bridgitt McCaughey

RESEARCH UPDATE
Our next project with Saginaw Valley State University School of Social Work is underway intending to learn more about the protective factors of families. Each focus group will last no more than two hours and each participant will be compensated with a $25 gift card to Walmart for their time. Results from this will further help with the coordination of our programming and ongoing initiatives in the community. We are happy to be working alongside SVSU again for our second project.
For more information about our Focus Groups please get in touch with Chad at chad@mi-fact.org.
