Holidays at the Hub in Saginaw brought families together for a fun-filled holiday evening. Our very special guests, Santa Claus, and his elves stopped by to meet with the children.

November brought strong connection across both counties. Mobile Mondays went to The Neighb where we both created a warm space for children to explore books and video games while caregivers connected with trusted partners and learned about local services.

Loads of Love at Pro Clean Laundry on Pierson Road had its strongest day yet. More families came in, more partner agencies joined us, and more loads were washed than ever before. This event continues to be one of the most active and positive parts of our month.

FACT's Loads of Love FREE Community Laundry day was hosted at Center Rd Laundry where FACT offered families up to three free loads of laundry. Families enjoyed free washing and drying as well as laundry supplies and a snack.

August was a busy and impactful month for FACT as our team connected with families across the region through a variety of community outreach events. In addition to our ongoing Community Coffee Chats in both Genesee and Saginaw Counties and Mobile Mondays with the Saginaw Public Libraries, we partnered with many organizations to support families as they prepared for the new school year

On August 21, FACT hosted our Putting Families First Caregiver Dinner at Funway Amusement Park in Saginaw. Families came together for an evening filled with connection, food, and fun on the putt-putt course. With pizza, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition, it was truly a night to remember. For some families, it was even their first time playing miniature golf, making the experience extra special.

On July 30th, FACT returned to Center Road Laundry in Saginaw for another Loads of Love event—a simple yet powerful way to lighten the load for local families. With the hum of washers and dryers in the background, families came together not just to do laundry, but to connect, receive support, and feel seen.

On August 19th, we gathered at ProClean on Pierson Road in Flint for another Loads of Love event. Dozens of families came out to take care of their laundry, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes from spending time together. In partnership with Molina Healthcare, they provided custom laundry bags, detergent, and other supplies for families to use. These simple moments continue to remind us how powerful it is when families have space to connect and feel supported.
